A regional care home provider had encountered considerable problems with a site after they had bought it. It came to light that the adjoining property had been developed incorrectly leaving this site unusable for their original requirements.

Oxygen Projects got involved with and took away all of the existing problems and costs by entering in to sales agreement allowing us to correct any planning issues and guarantee to purchase the site. We consulted our in-house architects and planners and decided it was a viable proposition. We then applied for a fresh scheme to be built on this site that will maximise the value and use for the owner.

Planning has now been granted and the scheme is well underway and will be completed by July 2014. Oxygen Projects have built up a strong relationship with the care home’s management team and as a result they are looking to purchase the whole block of apartments from us when built. Our new scheme now fits their requirements perfectly. This relationship has meant that the care home’s parent company has now passed on its national requirements and we are looking at acquiring and building large sites of up to 20 dwellings in Derbyshire and a specialist hospital in South Yorkshire. The project has proved a huge success for everyone involved.
